Worship led by Sue Clarke
Why are you here today? Is it because it’s Sunday and you always go to church on a Sunday? Is it because it’s a chance to catch up with your friends? Neither’s wrong, but the main reason should be because you’re here to meet with God. To be in His presence with like-minded people. It is a vital need, as a Christian, to seek God with our whole hearts. To hear from Him so we can grow in our Christian lives. Being together, to do that, encourages us and lifts our spirits as well as enables us to learn from each other’s experiences and knowledge.
We are here to bring our worship to God.
Hebrews 13 v15
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
I love You Lord 226
Psalm 115 v1
Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your name be the glory, because of Your love and faithfulness.
Jesus is King 289
Isaiah 9 v6-7
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
Ephesians 1 v18-21
I pray that the eyes of your heart might be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength which He exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
You are the Mighty King 628
Romans 12 v1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
King of Kings 1404
